Who is NLT?

First of all, we appreciate you signing up or checking us out as a tournament host this coming season. With all of the options available today, we don’t take for granted that you are giving Next Level Tournaments a look or have already chosen to play with us. Thank you!
This is a letter to each coach / manager / parent. We would like to give you a little bit of information about who we are and what we are about.

We’ve got some changes for the 2024 season!

-Pitch counts.  Player safety is always our top priority when hosting tournaments.  Implementing a pitch count is the best way to help protect the stress and work load of our young arms.
-No Gate fees!

Who We Are

We are Next Level Tournaments, formerly Britton’s Bullpen Tournaments.  We consider ourselves a small town tournament platform. We like to offer tournaments in smaller towns/cities to give more opportunity for teams who may not be able to afford the travel, may want to play in a more affordable tourney or just want a break from traveling 2-3 hours to a bigger city to play ball.  We tend to lean towards an old school approach when it comes to how we run our events while doing our best to keep our tourneys as affordable as possible.  We strive to provide a well organized, competitive tournament that is easy to navigate with quality umpires. Our goal is to host teams that promote good sportsmanship, respect umpires and the game of baseball.

Why We Do It

We do it for love of the game. Of course we make a little bit of money hosting a tournament, but for me personally, being a former Little Leaguer, HS, College and Professional Player (MiLB), I’ve been blessed to see baseball at multiple levels, first as a player and now as a coach. Using my personal experiences along the way, with help from many others, we have created our own philosophy in how we host tournaments. Our goal is to provide a baseball environment without distractions for our participating players. Our tournaments have a solid reputation for bringing in class act organizations that understand the big picture and are good sports.

We began hosting tournaments 6-7 years ago in the Olney / Noble area to give our local teams a place to play. Most of the tournaments around us were 1-2 hours from home. I decided hosting tournaments would give our parents an opportunity to save money traveling and to sleep in our own beds. Since then, we’ve slowly expanded to 4-5 tournaments a year in the Olney / Mt. Carmel area and now offer tournaments in the Charleston, IL area.
